Government of the Azores supports family after fire in Água de Pau, Lagoa

The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Secretariat for Social Solidarity, in partnership with Lagoa City Hall is monitoring the situation of a distressed family following a fire that hit its home in the early hours of today in Água de Pau.

The family has already received assistance with essential goods and its temporary relocation has been secured. Currently, the damages sustained are being assessed in order to outline a definitive intervention.

There were 10 people living in the house, including four adults and six minors. At the time the fire broke, there were nine people in the house.
