The Horta Museum promotes a contemporary painting exhibition by André Lança titled as "tempo enublado" (cloudy weather), whose opening session will take place at the Manuel de Arriaga House in the city of Horta on July 13.

According to the exhibition catalogue, "if we can easily unveil the incisive lines and the presence of something loose and outlined, adding an impetuosity that reinforces the expressive tone of the graphic work of André Lança; painting also conveys a dynamic intention with broad and energetic brush strokes using a wide chromatic variety."
André Lança is a young painter who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. He has been the recipient of two prizes and an honourable mention in national contests.
The temporary exhibition may be visited at Manuel de Arriaga House until September 9 with the following timetable: Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM - 12:30 PM and from 2 PM - 5:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM - 5:30 PM. Closed on Monday and holidays.
