The Government of the Azores made public, through the orders published in the Official Journals, the dates for the submission of application for support to cultural activities by individuals or legal persons.

As defined by the legislation of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, the deadline for the submission of applications for support to cultural activities in 2015 runs from March 16 to April 16. The deadline for the 2016 applications will be held between June 1 and August 31, 2015.

Interested parties may submit applications for the allocation of financial support to cultural projects developed under annual or biannual programmes and initiatives, with the relevant interest to the preservation, promotion and cultural dissemination of the Azores.

This measure covers audiovisual and multimedia, performing arts, visual arts, cultural heritage, other events, interdisciplinary programmes and the publication costs of cultural works.

It will also comprise the purchase of musical instruments and consumables, the conservation, maintenance and repair of musical instruments, the purchase of uniforms as well as the acquisition and restoration of costumes and repertoire for the implementation of cultural projects.
