President of the Government devalues controversy caused by the approval of the Program of the X Government
The president of the Government devalued, today, the controversy produced around the process of approval of the Program of the X Government of the Azores, thinking that his Executive demonstrated a “very good performance” in the presentation and discussion of the document.
Along three days of discussion, the Government presented hundreds of projects and measures necessary to the progress of the Region, enhanced Carlos César, considering not being responsibility of the chief of the Executive to be pronounced about interpretations of the Regiment of the Parliament and of the applicable legislation for effects of approval of the document at issue.
Nevertheless, he was declared being supportive with the positions assumed by the president and table of the Assembly and added that, regardless of what mechanism was used, the Program of Government would always be approved because the Executive has the support of most of the members.
Carlos César still said to have other priorities than not “palatial games”, like the preparation of the Budget and Plan of the Region for 2009 and the execution of measures meant for fighting the effects in the Azores of the international crisis.
