The strategy to promote the Azores in the national territory, under the summer campaign, was reinforced with the presence of an advertising totem at the country’s main travel agencies, and with the display of a 30-second film containing images of the Archipelago at shop windows.
This stage of the campaign, which will take place until the month of October, aims to establish a closer and, above all, an interactive relation with the tourists who intend to visit the Azores in the places where they chose and define their holiday destination.
Thus, the Azores have been promoting their tourism potentialities at the most important travel agencies in the Portuguese market, such as Abreu, Halcon, Top Atlântico, Geotur Star and SATA.
The Azores’ presence at the Abreu travel agency is market by totems in seven stores, where the film about the Archipelago and the TV spot are exhibited and all shop windows are decorated with Azorean motives.
The shop windows of the former shop in Cais do Sodré in Lisbon, are fully decorated with items depicting the Archipelago. The campaign at the Abreu Travel Agency has started in second half of June and will take place until August.
Regarding the Halcon Travel Agency, the 30-second film about the Azores and the campaign’s TV spot will be exhibited in the Halcon’s internal circuit until October.
The Azores will be present with ten totems at the Top Atlântico, including the film about the Archipelago and the TV spot.
Moreover, the Azores will be present with five totems, the exhibition of the film about the Azores as well as the TV spot at the Geotour Star.
Three totems are on display at SATA’s shops. The film about the Azores will also be exhibited alongside with a 30-second spot, broadcasted in the internal circuits at the SATA’s shops. Some totems were also displayed in some shops, including the full decoration of one of the shop windows at the shop on the Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon.
