The Faial Ecoteca promotes this week several activities meant for marking the National Sea Day, which is celebrated on the 16th of November.

For Friday, there is planned a “Sea Circuit”, with pedagogic interactive activities that include the local schools, as well as ateliers, games and exhibitions, to be carried out in the Sea Center, installed in the ancient factory of the whale of Porto Pim.

On Saturday and on Sunday, equally in the Sea Center, children between four and 12 years old will be invited participating in an atelier of plastic expression entitled “Sea and Dreams”.

The program of the celebration of the National Sea Day still includes an Apneia Immersion Meeting in the Bay of Entre-Montes, which will take place on Sunday, at 10 o’clock, in an organization of the Naval Club of Horta.
