A resolution issued by the Regional Government, already published in the Official Journal, extends the Azores Brand to services and establishments, thus moving forward with the strategy towards the phased implementation of that brand.

Until now, the Azores Brand had been only available to the crafts and agri-food sectors, which already account for the certification of more than 250 products from a total of 88 companies registered on the Azores Brand portal.

By extending to the access of services and establishments to this brand, the Government of the Azores emphasises the importance of identifying the Region with a brand that is synonymous with quality and, therefore, is an important vector for gaining the access and loyalty of new markets. This brings added value to Azorean products and services, while reinforcing the promotion of exports.

The Azores Brand intends to position itself as a global brand of reference, covering all activity sectors. Moreover, it aims to become a territorial brand that distinguishes the regional tourism offer, whether in the promotion of tourism or in dissemination of products and services, always valuing the Region's endogenous resources.
