The opening of the Terceira Business Support Office marked the formal entry into operation of this office network throughout the Region.

The launch of this network is another measure provided in the Azorean Agenda for Employment Creation and Business Competitiveness that has just been implemented. This initiative is mainly intended to create a space to provide specialised services to businesspeople and entrepreneurs by streamlining the access to information, advice and support.

The network of Business Support Offices (GE), whose management is entrusted to the Society for the Business Development of the Azores (SDEA), a body under the jurisdiction of the Vice-Presidency, is as follows:
