Food Hygiene - Regulations -

Requirements Checklist

 

 

  Given that Decree-Law no. 113/2006 of 12 June has established the regulations for executing, within the national legal system, EC Regulations no. 852/2004 and 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April on the hygiene of foodstuffs and food of animal origin, revoking Decree-Law no. 67/98 of 18 March and publishing alterations to the previous system by establishing a new framework of sanctions, we hereby present on this page the contents of Decree-Law no. 113/2006, the aforementioned Community Regulations and, in addition, a "Checklist of Hygiene Requirements" produced by the inspection services and based on the said regulations, which provides a practical summary of the requirements which the establishments in question must respect.
