Government divulges European Social Fund Programme

Starting Tuesday, the Regional Directorate for Employment, Vocational Training and Consumer Rights will organise public meetings to divulge the potentialities of the European Social Fund Programme (Pro-Employment) on the islands of Terceira, São Miguel, Pico and Faial.

The first of these public discussions will take place on Tuesday, at 20 hrs, at Hotel Caracol, on the island of Terceira whilst the second is scheduled for the 2nd of March, at Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archives.

There will be another public discussion on the 5th of March at the Basic and Secondary School Cardeal Costa Nunes, Madalena do Pico, and, on the following day, another at Horta Vocational Training School.

These public discussion sessions aim to provide information on how to apply to the Pro-Employment programme and describe in detail the typology of projects that are eligible for financing.

The Pro-Employment programme has already approved 53 million Euros for a vocational training-employment project.
