The Regional Secretariat for Social Solidarity, through the Regional Directorate for Housing, has sent invitations to regional companies for the rehabilitation of two houses in the municipalities of Ribeira Grande and Lagoa on São Miguel Island, an investment of nearly 100 thousand Euros.
 
Moreover, the Government has also awarded the contract work for the construction of a house on Graciosa Island for the price of 111 thousand Euros.
 
These contracts works are included in the Regional Public Works Charter and were awarded through direct adjustment procedures with invitations sent to regional companies.
 
This initiative falls under the Regional Government's goal to provide Azorean families with better housing conditions and contribute to the redevelopment and preservation of the Region's housing stock.
