Azorean Government and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation promote seminars on Antero de Quental

The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will organise the seminars on Antero de Quental, "Antero Hoje," in Ponta Delgada on November 7 and 8.

Eduardo Lourenço, António Machado Pires, Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins, Ana Maria A. Martins, Luiz Fagundes Duarte, Urbano Bettencourt, Magda Costa Carvalho and Ana Cristina Gil will speak at this event, which will take place at Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive.

These seminars are intended to provide a space for reflection and an event celebrating the 175th anniversary of the birth of Azorean poet Antero de Quental.

The conferences will be available in a digital space dedicated to Antero de Quental that will be created within the website of the Regional Directorate for Culture.
