Under the protocol established between the Presidency of the Regional Government of the Azores/Regional Directorate for Culture and the New Bedford Whaling Museum, a photography and documentary exhibition on American and Azorean whaling activities will open to the public at the Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archives next Monday, July 11.

Organised by the New Bedford museum, this exhibition is intended to disseminate the various stages of the whaling history in the USA and in the Azores, emphasising its importance in the community, whether in the past or in the present.

This exhibition will be open to the public until August 11 during the regular operating hours.
