The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture, promotes the event "Portugueseness - Conference. Concert" featuring António Victorino d'Almeida and Miguel Leite at Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada next Saturday, September 10, at 9:30 PM.
 
António Victorino d'Almeida is the most prominent Portuguese composer of today, having composed more than 200 works throughout an artistic career that has spanned over 63 years. The maestro, together with musical promoter Miguel Leite, will present "Portugueseness - Conference. Concert," an event held under the high patronage of the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities to mark the celebrations of the maestro's 75th birthday. It is also included in the programme of the Artistic Season 2016.
