The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Santa Maria Museum, open the photography exhibition "For Cod's Sake" by Pepe Brix next Saturday, November 18, at Vila do Porto Municipal Library at 9:30 PM.

After two months of researching and collecting photographs in Iceland, Pepe Brix continues to work on the photography documentary titled "For Cod's Sake."
 
This report is intended to enhance the conscientious relationship that Icelanders maintain with the waters that surround them and how they manage and explore these wild resources.
 
In order to understand this ancestral commitment, it is necessary to travel to some remarkable events that have occurred throughout the country's history and that have shaped the perception of Icelanders about the scarce resources the island offers.
 
The photography exhibition, which will be open until January 13, has the support of the Municipality of Vila do Porto.
