On April 23 and 24, the Regional Directorate for Culture promotes a training programme entitled "Theatrical Expression/ Arts of the Body" at Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada.
 
This initiative, led by Sofia Cabrita and Margarida Mestre, is aimed at cultural technicians and mediators working at the Educational Services of Museums and Libraries, regardless of being under the administration of the Regional Directorate for Culture.
 
This 12-hour training runs from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2 to 5 PM, being limited to a maximum of 25 participants.

Actress and director Sofia Cabrita holds a postgraduate degree in Communication and Arts from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. She studied at the Gesto Estudis de Teatre school in Barcelona and at the Kiklos-Scuola Internazionale di Creazione Teatrale school in Pádua. She graduated in Actor Training at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School.
 
Margarida Mestre holds a Master's Degree in Preforming Arts - Motion Theatre at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. She has training in Childhood Education, Sound Design and Dance, having studied at the Institute for the Living Voice in New York and at Roy Hart International School in France.
