Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive promotes "Histórias Requinhas” Saturday
The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive, continues its book promotion and reading activities in the last quarter of 2017 with three sessions held under the "História Requinhas" (nice stories) initiative.
With the partnership of the group of storytellers "Histórias Requinhas," the sessions will be developed at the Children's Reading Room of the Library on Saturdays, October 14, November 25 and December 9, at 4 PM.
This initiative aims to encourage and promote the taste for books and reading, while seeking to strengthen the ties between families and the library.
In this context, the use of a series of body and oral expression techniques will familiarise youngsters with the fantastic world of reading, creativity and imagination in a light, fun, captivating and motivating way.
"Histórias Requinhas" is a group of storytellers created in 2011 with the purpose of arouse interest in books and reading, demystifying the concept that they are uninteresting.
