The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Pico Museum, opens a painting exhibition entitled "A Ponta do Pico" (The Tip of Pico) by Margarida de Bem Madruga at the Whaling Museum next Saturday, August 19, at 9:30 PM.
 
A native of Pico, Margarida Madruga studied architecture in Lisbon. She has focused her works on comics and painting, having already participated in exhibition held in the Azores, Mainland Portugal and Galicia (Spain).
 
In this exhibition, made up of a set of oil paintings, the Mountain of Pico serves as single reference for these works. It will be open until November 5 and may be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10 AM and 5:30 PM.
