The Regional Directorate for Culture (DRC), through Luís da Silva Ribeiro Public Library (BPARLSR), and the Angra do Heroísmo Municipal Library promote an information session on their book offer, which is available from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. The session will take place at the premises of Feteira Village Council from between January 3 to 30.
 
The initiative falls within the goal to disseminate the information of the Library's activities in the villages located within the Municipality of Angra do Heroísmo. It intends to promote home loan services among elderly people or those with reduced mobility, thus facilitating their access to the books available for loan, upon request, and under the same conditions as those provided by the Library at its premises.
 
So far, the project has covered the following villages: Altares, Serreta, S. Bartolomeu, Doze Ribeiras, Santa Bárbara, Terra-Chã, Posto Santo, Ribeirinha, Porto Judeu, Feteira and S. Sebastião.
