Government of the Azores to provide 150 thousand Euros to support infrastructures for cultural activities in 2017
According to the notice published today in the Official Journal, the deadline for submission of applications for financial support to be allocated in 2017 was set until November 15, 2016. This measure is aimed at the acquisition, remodelling, improvement, expansion and construction of infrastructures for cultural activities under the Legal Scheme on the Support to Cultural Activities (RJAAC).
The support comprises a global financial amount of 150 thousand Euros for next year. It is directed to regional, national or foreign agents, individuals and collective persons that develop cultural activities with relevant interest to the Region and that meet access conditions established in the regional legislation, namely under RJAAC.
Public entities, namely municipal and inter-municipal companies, commercial companies organised under commercial law or legal persons under public law are not eligible for this support.
Under the terms of the notice published by the Regional Director for Culture, the commission in charge of assessing cultural projects submitted under RJACC for the acquisition, remodelling, improvement, expansion and construction of infrastructures for cultural activities consists of Francisco Maduro-Dias, Carlos Joaquim Marques da Silva, José António Raimundo Mendes da Silva and Magda Angelica de Oliveira Gonçalves.
