The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Carlos Machado Museum, promotes a workshop on figurative ceramics guided by Delfim Manuel at the Sacred Arts and Santa Bárbara Centres in Ponta Delgada between February 24 and 26. It is directed to participants with expertise on ceramics.
 
The sessions take place on February 24 from 2 PM to 5 PM, February 25 from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM, and February 26 from 10 AM to 13 PM.

In this workshop, Delfim Manuel will pass on knowledge on the movements and expressiveness needed to mould the clay figures that distinguish his work.
 
The creative spirit, the talent of execution and the complexity of elements in his works, including those depicting religious themes such as nativities scenes and monstrances, have made Delfim Manuel one the best pottery makers of today.
