Arquipélago - Contemporary Arts Centre promotes "Painting - From the Collection" workshop in March

The Regional Directorate for Culture, through the Arquipélago - Contemporary Arts Centre, promotes, through its Educational Services, the "Painting - From the Collection" workshop every March Saturday.
 
Five works from the Arquipélago's Collection were selected for this activity. Each Saturday, a work will be highlighted, which will serve as a basis for the activities to developed by participants through painting.
 
This workshop will feature different ways of creating a painting and the materials that can be used, thus arousing the attention of youngsters to the various techniques that can be used in painting.
 
On March 2, participants will work from Urbano's painting entitled "Great Book of Flowers and Ashes # 30 (diptych)," while "Untitled" by João Queiroz will be the selected work for March 9. In turn, the painting entitled "Camouflage" by Gil Heitor Cortesão will be the highlighted work on March 16.
 
On March 23, participants will work from André Laranjinha's work "Untitled (Anona)" and "Cinema Room" by Pedro Barateiro will be the selected painting for the last session on March 30.
 
These works will be on display at the Educational Service space during the month of March.
 
This workshop is directed to participants aged between 6 and 12; the use of practical attire is recommended.
