Integrated system of management and evaluation of the performance in the Regional Public Administration of the Azores (SIADAPRA) was approved
The Azorean Parliament approved on Wednesday, for proposal of the Government, the diploma that establishes in the archipelago the integrated system of management and evaluation of the performance in the Regional Public Administration of the Azores (SIADAPRA). The diploma aims at contributing to the improvement of the performance and quality of service of the Regional Public Administration of the Azores, to the coherence and harmony of the action of the organisms and other officials and to the promotion of its professional motivation and development of competences. The SIADAPRA is applied to the services and organisms of the Regional Administration, including the regional public institutes in the areas of personalized services or of public funds, as well as, with the necessary adaptations to the Regional Legislative Assembly. According to the vice president of the Government, the diploma now approved is integrated in the implemented strategy of a public management for objectives, to which projects compete, as for example, the tools of mandatory self-evaluation in the regional administration. For Sérgio Ávila, with this new system there is introduced in the Azores a new concept of evaluation and a bigger level of demand and rigidity in the evaluation, having the obtained results, from the objectives defined previously, a very significant importance in the classification of the workers and leaders. He also pointed out that with the implementation of this new system the evaluation in function of the merit is valued, with resource to indicators of results properly quantified and without any possibility of subjective analysis.
