He, also, guaranteed that the Azoreans are going to keep on having the support of the Executive in a “financial effort, of many million euros” which it has been guaranteeing that the price of the fuels in the Azores “is substantially cheaper than the one practiced in the Continent, or in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, assuming the responsibilities resulting from this difference”.

The diesel oil for the fishing, 65.5% cheaper, the gas butane costs, for kilogram, less 51.0%, the road diesel oil less 46.2% and, even the gasoline without lead costs less 13.3%, though, since I told previously, it weighs the growing increase of the price of the barrel of crude”, he affirmed.

The study that will be prepared by the University of the Azores represents a pro-active measure that it will be possible to be expressed, in a new “tool at the disposal of the Regional Government, in a strategy of anticipation and of realistic foresight of future macro-economical sceneries, contributing, in a rigorous way, to the definition of policies of development and of support to the families, which guarantee an efficient answer, to the challenges that are put at global level”, it told Sérgio Ávila.
