The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Directorate for Youth, will support youth associations in 2013 with over 160 thousand Euros.

This amount is intended to fund 167 projects from 20 organisations that are listed in the Azorean Register of Youth Associations after consulting the Evaluation Committee on the support requests in the area of youth for the current year.

The support to youth associations, which falls under the Incentive Scheme for Youth Associations, will allow them to carry out the activities planned under their annual plan in different areas, including cultural, recreational, social, sports and training activities.
