The Graciosa Museum marks, on Saturday, its 25th anniversary with an official ceremony, which program includes the launch of the commemorative stamp and a conference subordinated to the subject “The Azores in the Route of Vieira”.
The initiative, directed by the teacher Isabel Almeida, of the Philological College of the University of Lisbon, is scheduled for 6pm, in the seat of the Museum.
The celebrations of the ephemerid, which reckon with the support of the local autarchy, will equally include a singing and piano concert with Francisco Lobão and Fábio Mendes, at 9pm, in the Cultural Centre of Graciosa.
On Friday, the museum’s educative service carries out a sensitization activity with the “O Ilhéu”stamp collecting club of the Manuel de Arriaga High School, of Horta, coordinated by the teacher Carlos Lobão.
The cultural agenda of December still includes a Christmas gathering, on the 14th, at 9pm in the Cultural Centre, with the participation of four choruses and of the Christmas group of Guadalupe.
