The coordinator for POSEI visits the Azores

The coordinator for POSEI at the European Commission ended today a four-day visit to the Azores, with scheduled visits to the PROFRUTOS and UNILEITE cooperatives, to a dairy farm and another to a tea plantation on S. Miguel Island.

After visiting PROFRUTOS (9:30 AM), Chiara Império visited UNILEITE (11 AM) and a dairy farm after a lunch in Furnas. To conclude her trip to the Azores, she visited a tea plantation in Porto Formoso (5 PM).

The Azorean Government’s invitation regarding this visit is related to the need of making the Coordinator for POSEI acquainted with the importance of the programme for the Region and its positive impact in Regional productions.

Chiara Império visited the Islands of Faial, Pico, Terceira and S. Miguel, where she met with the producers and the producer’s organisations.
