The director and playwright Gisela Cañamero directs on the 3rd December, in Horta, the “With the Poem in the Body” (“Com o Poema no Corpo”) workshop, in an organization of the Regional Directorate for Culture.
The initiative takes place from 3 pm to 6 pm in the training room of the João José da Graça Public Library and Regional Archive and it is addressed at teachers, librarians, cultural animators, university students and, in last analysis, pupils of the secondary teaching.
Taking the creation of small performances as a final objective, this action aims at the experimentation of the means of existence of the poem, taking conscience of the perception of the times, of the enjoyment of the spoken word, of the appropriation and interaction with other universes, of the possible relationships of the stated and embodied poem with the space, the architecture of the places and objects.
In this workshop, which will have a maximum of 25 participants, by means of prior inscription in the public library, there will be worked poems of Luís de Camões, Eugénio de Andrade, Fernando Pessoa, Cesário Verde and Carlos Drummond de Andrade.
