The Microcredit Measure - Regional Legislative Decree no.11/2012/A, Support Scheme on Microfinance in the Azores - and Cresaçor - Regional Solidarity Economy Cooperative, as Microcredit Agency, were selected by the European Microfinance Network (EMN) to be included in the publication “European Good Practices in Rural Microfinance” in the "Development of Partnership" categories.

Released on the EMN website through various media, this publication brings together a group of organisations involved in European rural areas and whose work and experience are recognised and distinguished as a good practice.

The measure provides a loan up to 15 thousand Euros that is directly granted by credit institutions; risk charges and interests are supported by the Regional Government.

As Microcredit Agent, CRESAÇOR will be charge of disseminating the microcredit measure, identifying potential developers, providing technical support in the preparation of projects, monitoring the complete cycle of projects and evaluating the work already done.
