The Government of the Azores, through the Vice-Presidency, promotes, as in previous years, regional craft exhibition Lar, Campo e Mar Fair to be held in Ponta Delgada at Alameda do Mar in Ponta Delgada between April 29 and May 5.
 
The initiative designated "M. ART. Holy Christ of Miracles" is organised by the Regional Centre for Handicrafts (CRAA) and will feature 46 craft production units from the islands of São Miguel, Pico, Faial, São Jorge and Terceira.
 
This exhibition will showcase different handmade productions, including plant fibres, embroidery, lace, textiles, patchwork, whale bone, fish scales, jewellery, tin work, iron, leather and wood, puppetry and herbs.
 
Under the cooperation agreement signed between both Autonomous Regions in handicrafts, the event will feature, for the first time, four artisans from Madeira, who will present works in ceramics, wickerwork, clothing accessories and wood.
 
The event will be open to the public from 6 PM to 12 AM on April 29 and May 3, 4 and 5; from 4 PM to 12 AM on April 30 and May 2; from 2 PM to 12 AM on May 1, the day of the Holy Christ of Miracles Procession.
