The Regional Government will distinguish about two dozen companies at the 1st Azores Brand Gala, which will take place next Thursday, January 30, on Graciosa Island, to mark the 5th anniversary of the Açores Brand.

On January 30, 2015, the Regional Government launched the Azores Brand, a label with an easily recognised seal of origin that aims to distinguish products, services and commercial establishments. It has been an important tool for accessing the major national and international markets.

Five years after its launch and official implementation, the universe of the Azores Brand is made up of more than 200 companies and the "Azores Brand - Certified by Nature" label is visible on more than 3,600 products, services and commercial establishments.

A growth that has been accompanied by several promotional campaigns, partnerships, events, missions and audits, among other initiatives, always in a very close management between the Regional Government and the adhering companies. This has been achieved through the Azores brand managers, who are responsible for accompanying the entire membership process and the renewal of certificates.

To mark the 5th anniversary of the Azores Brand and the success of the strategy adopted, the Regional Government will distinguish the companies that have borne the "Azores Brand - Certified by Nature" label since 2015.

The event will begin at the Caldeira da Graciosa Natural Monument, the so-called "Furna do Enxofre," followed by the award ceremony.
