RTP Açores receives 35 euros for each minute of antenna time for the Sunday regional legislative elections
The Region will pay to the Radiotelevisão de Portugal - RTP Açores for each minute of antenna time reserved to the campaign of the competing parties and coalitions to the Sunday elections for the Azorean Parliament, as it establishes a dispatch of the vice president of the Government.
In the radio stations, the public compensation for the use of emission times was set in the same dispatch of Sérgio Ávila in values that vary between the 9,9 and 16,91 euros per minute, according to the number inhabitants of the council for which the station disposes of permit.
The radios located in a council with more than 50 thousand inhabitants will receive 16,91 euros per minute of antenna time and the authorized ones to operate in councils with less than 25 thousand residents benefit from a compensation of 9,9 euros. For the stations that occupy the intermediate situation the compensation reaches 13,83 euros per minute.
