The Government of the Azores is going to present in the Thursday and Friday meeting, in Paris, of the Political Bureau of the Assembly of the Regions of Europe (ARE) the plan of the Azorean presidency for the Eurydice program in the 2009-2010 biennium.
The Eurydice is an initiative of mobility and youthful training of the ARE that joins ten of regions of Europe and that the Azores lead since 2007.
In the Paris meeting, in which the Azorean presidency, led by the president of the Government, is represented by the regional director for Employment and Vocational Training, Rui Bettencourt, while secretary-general, will proceed, also, to a balance of the two last two years of intervention of the Eurydice.
In the Eurydice Forum that happened in September in Ponta Delgada, Carlos César was re-elected, by unanimity, president of the program for 2009-2010, a decision that will have to be ratified by the Political Bureau of the Assembly of the Regions of Europe.
