The former football player Pedro Pauleta, Tourism Ambassador of the Azores for the year 2010, was the host of a cocktail offered by the Government of the Azores on Thursday in the context of the World Tourism Fair - “Le Monde à Paris,” the main tourism fair held in France and one of the main events of this type in Europe.

Pedro Pauleta, in addition to participating in this event, which took place at the Portugal Pavilion, also attended an autograph session that counted upon the presence of some athletes and leaders of his former team in France, the Paris Saint - German.

Furthermore, the cocktail was not only attended by tourism operators and the French mass media, but also by various political personalities linked to the Paris City Hall, the Secretary of State of Tourism, Bernardo Trindade and the Ambassador of Portugal in Paris, Seixas da Costa.
