The Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive continues to promote, throughout August, cinema sessions dedicated both to children and adults. There are two daily sessions, which take place at the library’s collective screening room. The first session is at 10 am and it is meant for kids and teenagers, while the second session is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
The exhibitions start next Wednesday with the movies “Howl’s Moving Castle” and “The Sheltering Sky”. On Friday, “The Jungle Book 2” and “Cinema Paradiso” will be screened.
On the 11th it is time for “Surf’s Up” and “Body Heat”, and on the 13th “The Cat in the Hat” and “La Petite Lili” will be shown.
On August 18th, “Tinker Bell” will be screened in the children’s session and in the afternoon it is time for “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”. Two days later, “The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea” and “Twister” will be shown.
On the last week of August, on the 25th, “Garfield” and “Summer of Sam” will be presented. The month ends with the screening of “Horton Hears a Who!” and “Smiles of a Summer Night”, on the 27th.
