The Regional Government, through the Vice-Presidency, supports the participation of companies representing the main sectors of agri-food production in the Azores in the International Food and Beverage Show - Alimentaria under the promotion of the Azores Brand.
 
The Alimentaria 2018 takes place in Barcelona between April 16 and 19. This fair is a reference at European level, featuring about 160 countries. It is expected to register more than 140 visitors.
 
The presence of the Azores in this biennial event is an opportunity for regional companies to promote their products and to establish contact with professionals in the food and culinary industry, thereby establishing new businesses that will further promote exports.
 
The participation of Azorean companies in the International Food and Beverage Show falls within the Azores Export 2018 Plan. It is developed by the Vice-Presidency of the Government, through the Society for Business Development of the Azores (SDEA) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores (CCIA).
