The regional director for Employment and Vocational Training, Rui Bettencort, announces on Monday, in Angra do Heroísmo, in the opening session of a course for improvement of capacity of leadership that the Government of the Azores and the American-Portuguese Foundation (FLAD) promote in collaboration with the University of Harvard, the United States.
The vocational course “Leadership in the Century XXI” is addressed to executives of enterprises that wish to improve their capacities of leadership.
The course is an initiative of the Harvard Kennedy School that includes several aspects of the leadership, from its basic reasons up to the way as it is pursued, passing not only by the technical solutions but also by the needs of change in the organizations.
Due to the financial support of the FLAD and of the Government, the course has a cost of 900 euros, which includes tuitions, materials, accommodation and the meals included in the respective program, quite below its real value.
The opening session is scheduled for 14 o’clock in the Terceira Mar Hotel.
