The daily and non-daily press, television, radio and outdoors are the means chosen by the Government, through the Regional Secretariat for the Economy, to promote a Tourism Awareness Campaign in the Azores, launched this Friday, which will take place until July 24.
Under the theme “Crie saudades. Todos nós temos a ganhar” (Miss the Azores. It is good for everyone), the campaign which was now launched is addressed at the Azorean population, as well as at the professionals of the tourist sector, with the purpose of encouraging a positive attitude towards tourism amongst the population.
This campaign is based on the principle that customer loyalty facilitates the maintenance and growth of the tourist movements, simultaneously introducing a greater dynamism in the Regional economy.
Therefore, the new Tourism Awareness Campaign in the Azores, with a global budget of €200,000.00, aims to make the population aware of the importance of the tourist, on the assumption that the people motivated for the tourism phenomenon will improve the welcoming of visitors, enhancing the quality of the Azorean tourism and customer satisfaction.
