Fernando Emanuel Lopes de Almeida, aged 41, will replace, starting next Monday, Luís Quintanilha in the position of Regional Director for Transport, following a request for termination of duties due to personal reasons.

The new Regional Director for Transport holds a degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the Technical Institute of Lisbon. He also holds a Master's degree in Management of Information Systems from the School of Economics and Management of the same university.

Until now, Fernando Almeida was a member of the mission structure that ensures the coordination, development and monitoring of the actions deemed necessary for the implementation of the Integrated Transport Plan. He had previously held the positions of project manager at SATA Internacional. Between 2006 and 2009, he was in charge for the coordination and management of projects at BRIGHT PARTNERS.
