A selection of unique flavours of the Azores will be highlighted at selected shops of Continente supermarkets in Mainland Portugal between September 20 and October 3.
 
The promotional campaign, titled as "Azores Space," is the result of a partnership between the Regional Government, through the Vice-Presidency, and SONAE.
 
The Azores will be represented in a space exclusively dedicated to food that showcases different categories of products, including cheeses, preserves, fruits, jams, pastry and tea; all products bear the Azores Brand seal. The campaign is expected to reach a potential of four million consumers, who are expected to visit Continente shops during the fair.
 
This initiative features an advertising campaign to disseminate the Azores Brand at national level, titled as "The Azores arrive to Mainland Portugal," covering television, outdoor advertising and the Internet. Moreover, it will be also promoted through the communication channels of SONAE, namely at the address continente.pt; the latter has about three million monthly views.
 
The "Azores Space" is intended to enhance the visibility of regional products, highlighting their unique high-quality features resulting from a natural selection while promoting the Azores as a region of excellence and high sustainability.
 
This is another initiative that reinforces the commitment of the Government in the domestic market with the aim of boosting the sale of regional products.
 
The official opening will take place at the Continente shop of Colombo Shopping Centre in Lisbon on September 20 at 6 PM.
