Professional Experience
2012 - 2016
She held the position of Regional Director for Employment and Vocational Training at the XI Regional Government of the Azores.
2009 - 2012
Head of the Accreditation and Certification Department of the Regional Directorate for Labour, Vocational Training and Consumer Protection, where she was responsible for the certification of training entities, approval and authorisation of vocational training and double certification courses, certification of professionals in the area of training and safety at work. She was also responsible for conducting the technical analysis and educational follow up of the applications submitted under the PROEMPREGO programme. She also coordinated the creation of the vocational training support platform - CERTIFICAR.
2008
She joined the international project on e.portefolio and europass, an initiative promoted by the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM), as coordinator of the tutors' team.
2004 - 2008
She joined the Planning Department at the Rectorate of the University of the Azores (UAC) on a service provision scheme, being in charge of disseminating the University's training offer, merchandising the UAC brand and coordinating the UAC Open Day on the Ponta Delgada and Angra do Heroísmo campuses.
She coordinated the Technological Specialisation Courses of the University of the Azores on the Ponta Delgada and Angra do Heroísmo Campuses.
She collaborated in the 1st edition of the Student Guide of the University of the Azores.
1997 - 2004
Under her work carried out at the Regional Directorate for Youth, Employment and Vocational Training, she produced the Monthly Employment Market Statistics and the Employment Market Survey for companies in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, having also conducted the economic and financial analysis of various entities applying for the PROFORME and INTEGRA programme. As "Producer of Information," she collected data on Employment and Vocational Training to be included in the national INFOCID network.
1996
She joined the Regional Directorate for Youth under a fixed-term employment contract, being responsible for supervising the Plan developed by that department, managing the SIJE programme and preparing the SIRJOVEM Programme.
