The Government of the Azores promotes the fifth edition of "AçorExpo" fair at Pavilhão do Mar in Ponta Delgada between September 7 and 9 with the aim of promoting regional products and services and increasing their consumption.

The fair, installed in area of 1,500 square metres, is a diversified showcase of various economic activity sectors. It will feature more than fifty exhibitors who will promote products, services and regional handicrafts.

The event also includes a musical entertainment programme over the three days; admission is free. It may be visited Friday, September 7, from 6 PM to 12 AM, Saturday between 4 PM to 12 AM, and Sunday from 2 to 10 PM.

This fair is part of the "Azores Export 2018" plan, an initiative developed by the Vice-Presidency of the Government through SDEA- Society for Business Development of the Azores in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores.

The "Azores Export 2018" plan, developed under the strategy to increase the export of regional products and services, includes multiple initiatives and support to companies, namely participation in fairs, promotional activities and organisation of business missions in the Region and abroad with the aim of creating new business opportunities.
