A new application period to the Investment Fund for the Support to Entrepreneurship in the Azores (FIAEA) is currently open and will run until June 30.

This fund was established as an important financial tool provided by the Regional Government, through the Society for the Business Development of the Azores (SDEA) under the promotion of entrepreneurship in the Region. It was developed in partnership with the venture capital society Portugal Ventures.

FIAEA supports micro, small and medium companies that wish to develop projects in strategic areas for the regional economy and also allows the implementation of innovative business initiatives that are not covered by the traditional funding mechanisms.

This measure is another funding mechanism designed to promote the revitalisation of the regional companies that the Regional Government puts at the service of companies, promoting private investment and the competitiveness of the regional business sector.
