Economic operators in the Azores will be able to submit the complaint sheets through the portal of the Regional Inspectorate of Economic Activities (IRAE).
 
In order to do so, they must use the button "submit complaint sheet," which is already available on IRAE website at www.irae.azores.gov.pt.
 
After submitting the requested information and a scan of the complaint sheet in pdf format, a submission receipt will be immediately sent.
 
The original file of the complaint sheet, with receipt of submission from IRAE portal, is sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the submission of the complaint sheet, according to legislation in force.
 
The entry into force of the amendments to Decree-Law no.156/2005 of September 15 from July 1 introduces the electronic complaints book, which will be only available at this stage for essential public services. Moreover, economic operators can also submit the complaint sheets via digital format, portal or email.
 
Therefore, if, for any reason, it is not possible to use the IRAE portal for the submission of the complaint sheet, the economic operator may also submit the complaint sheet by email to the Regional Inspectorate of Economic Activities, using the email address [email protected].
 
In this case, it is necessary to indicate in the email subject that it is a complaint sheet and its respective number.
 
After receiving the email, the confirmation of receipt will be sent to the economic operator.
