The Regional Directorate for Organisation and Public Administration (DROAP) will put available, since 19 o’clock of Sunday, the temporary results of the elections for the Azores Regional Assembly in the website www.eleicoes2008.azores.gov.pt.

Presented today, in Angra do Heroísmo, and with diffusion through videoconference for the islands of São Miguel and Faial, the webpage is going to proceed to the spread of the provisory counting of the results of the electoral act, making, equally, available comparative maps and information in maps and graphics.

Exclusively addressed at the organs of the Press, another website will be available - http://cs.eleicoes2008.azores.gov.pt - of reserved access, which, containing the same information as the available one to the public in general, has “bigger fluidity, celerity and access to the import of files”, explained the regional director, Victor Santos.

Results at the level of the circles of island, of council and, when existent, of parishes, there are the possible poll levels in the online consultation, being always visible to the user the respective navigation zones.

For the first time, the candidates elected by each circle of island and of compensation will have, for consultation or spread, biographical informations and respective photography, with database sent by each political party.

In parallel, the DROAP will make available, through the site of the Vice-presidency of the Regional Government (http://www.vpgr.azores.gov.pt) the percentages of affluence to the urns next Sunday, with two gathering of information, one during the morning and other one in the afternoon.

Today, since 19 o’clock, the DROAP proceeds to a test of the electronic webpage, being possible to the organs of the Press to accompany the operation, by means of the use of the previously asked passwords.
