Regional Government provides information on October Regional Legislative Elections

Following the publication of the decree issued by the President of the Republic establishing October 16 as the regional election day, the Regional Directorate for Organisation and Public Administration (DROAP) provides on the official page of the Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government of the Azores informative texts on several themes related the elections.

Furthermore, DROAP has also provided legal aid to citizens and entities responsible for the electoral process, either by telephone or in writing.

On October 16, the election day, the services of the Regional Directorate for Organisation and Public Administration will be open from 7 AM and throughout the electoral process with the necessary support to assemblies and polling stations as well as to local authorities and citizens.
