The access conditions to the Support Programme for Scientific and Technological Dissemination were published, by the first time, in a regulation by the Regional Secretariat for Science, Technology and Infrastructure (SRCTE).

This Programme, regulated by the Order no. 39/2009 of June 3, will enable the allocation of funding to support field trips and the participation in events, the organisation of meetings in the context of scientific and technological dissemination, the promotion of exhibitions and other events, as well as the development of projects, the acquisition of equipments or modules for experimental science teaching.

Through the implementation of these measures, the SRCTE intends to promote the Knowledge Society, encouraging the reflection and discussion on Science and Technology amongst youngsters, as well as stimulating the scientific and technological curiosity of the Azorean community, in addition to experimental science teaching.
