Given the success of the previous editions, the Regional Secretariat for Science, Technology and Infrastructures (SRCTE) has opened the application for submission of proposals to support projects for the development of experimental science teaching.

This measure, open until October 31, aims to stimulate the use and application of technical resources, and of scientific and technological practices in teaching in order to instil the love of learning, critical thinking and creativity in students.

The Regional Government also intends to boost the design and development of new interactive educational products to encourage experimentation, facilitate understanding and consolidate knowledge. Moreover, the promotion of the establishment of technical and scientific partnerships between entities is also another goal of the measure.

The schools that make up the public school network of the Autonomous Region of the Azores or their school funds are the primary recipients of this initiative, including the two schools that were recently opened.
