Regional Government goes ahead with public housing project for the construction of 27 houses in parish of Sete Cidades
The Regional Government of the Azores will invest around 760 thousand euros in the construction of infrastructures for 27 “controlled-costs” units of public housing in the parish of Sete Cidades, on the island of São Miguel.
The new houses will be built in public land and the Regional Secretariat of Employment and Social Solidarity is authorised to open a public contest for the granting of the civil construction project of the infrastructures for this new public housing project.
The construction of houses in Sete Cidades is beset by peculiar difficulties that have to do with the scarcity and status of land that can be used for civil construction.
