Following the publication of the final results of the applications submitted in 2014 to the Lease Incentive Scheme, under the Families with Future Programme, the payment of support will begin in February.

Of the 499 applications submitted, a total of 390 were approved. It corresponds to a monthly allocation of 68 thousand Euros.

Young households represent 57.5% of the almost four hundred applications approved, while single-parent families correspond to 34% and young single-parent families 16%.

With the authorisation of these support measures, the Families with Future Programme will now support 1,200 families residing in the archipelago of the Azores, involving an overall monthly support of 215 thousand Euros, which corresponds to an average monthly allocation of 180 Euros.

This is an important support measure for families insofar as it will improve their living conditions as well as their disposable income.
